Kevin Robinson (Kayr) is a stellar example of a young professional who has benefited from workplace readiness training. For as long as he could remember, Kevin wanted to go to college, but being the first to go among parents, six siblings and friends meant that he had many obstacles to overcome. Robinson is an engaging, inspirational speaker who has addressed such various distinguished audiences as the Business Club of America, Groton School, and many other organizations.
Kevin graduated from Bowdoin College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Minor in English. A Dean’s List student, he received the President’s Award, the Joshua Chamberlain Leadership Scholarship, the Management Leadership for Tomorrow Career Prep, the Liberty Mutual Scholarship, the Tuck Bridge Program, and the General R. H. Dunlap Prize. During his summer breaks, he worked as a Summer Analyst for American Express, Prudential Financial, and Credit Suisse First Boston.
After graduation, Kevin held positions at Goldman Sachs (Investment Banking Analyst: Consumer – Retail Group) and Sirios Capital Management (Associate Analyst: European Financials and U.K. / U.S. Homebuilders).
Kevin graduated from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth with a Master of Business Administration degree in June 2012. He is a winning team member of Tuck Stock Pitch Competition and of the Investment and Finance Clubs. Since graduation, Kevin works as an investment consultant and motivational speaker. He is a board member of Philadelphia Young Playwrights, an intensive arts- education program that pairs a professional teaching artist with a classroom teacher. He was also nominated for the 40 under 40 Leadership Awards Program in Philadelphia.
